Even the cement mixer was sparkling clean.
#4a- cyclists and pedestrians shared paths - no tempers (or lives) were lost
#4b - the toilets!
'Flushing Sound' and 'Powerful Deodoriser' were particular favourites. Happiness is a heated toilet seat :)
#4c - Helpfulness is a Japanese trait & a big plus for the perfect holiday.

Reason #6 - a city that's Zen. This temple was so peaceful despite the bustle just beyond the trees.
