Portraits from Lake Turkana (2018)
It was a journey like no other - surreal being on roads less travelled and completely off the grid, epic photography opportunities, and some of the loveliest people I've ever met. As our Oryx Expedition leader, Marius Coetzee, said, "If the Omo Valley was rock 'n roll, Lake Turkana is classical."
The people were stunning, they readily and patiently 'sat' for us; there was much laughter from adults and children alike - which made for some awesome experiences - photographically, and otherwise.
